Rocky,

Often the crown jewel pumpkin, biggest of the year does not produce much in
the way of offspring. Rather a skip in generations occur. Take the 977 for
example. While it is too soon to tell yet it may not produce much in the way
of big pumpkins, although the genetics are their. The offspring however may
inturn the next year produce big pumpkins. A good example of this is the
Zehr 1061, what did it produce in 1997. Zip as far as big or bigger fruit,
however it's offspring may do very well! If the Darkhorse does wll for you
perhaps you can use the seeds from the her to help promote POV's new movie!
I hear he has quit his job and moved to Hollywood to take a position as
director of the new movie Return of the Killer Pumpkins!

Chris
