temps..

Pumpkineers,

I wish I could say it is "too damn hot" here in PA. I have covered my
plants 3 times the last week, in fear of frost, and fastened down my
cloche twice because of possible tornadoes(didnt hit me, but had three
in three days with in 10 miles of me).
This constant daytime temp of 60-65 degrees has slowed my vine
growth
down to a crawl.. I was getting between 5-6 inches a day, and now it
take three days for that type of growth. I was hoping for a June
pollination, but do not think that is a possibility now. I know, slow
and stady wins the race, right? lol Tell that to my insides that want a
pumpkinset now! Time will tell..
