I don't think chlorinated water would do that kind of damage to your plants. I
used very heavily chlorinated water on my entire field and veg garden from
March through May 27th, when I switched to pumping water from a drainage canal
nearby. There was no evidence of leaf yellowing or burned vine ends or leaf
tips. In fact, quite the contrary. Growth was superb on municipal water.
