RE: root wars


Dan-
I would guess that once you cut the tops of your pollen stock plants,
without the leaves to provide for them that the roots would die off
quickly, maybe within a few days???  Just a GUESS.   	But ... I think
that we all agree that it is better to leave them in the ground, even if
they grow some, than go digging them up and maybe damage some roots from
the # 1 plant.

Maybe when you plant is "big" my family and I could make a visit to
them?
