First cover them with something to protect them from the rain and to
shade them. Next, when you pollinate and it is above 85 degrees you
should "ice down" the female after you pollinate it in the early
morning. I am trying a method where you fill gallon milk jugs and freeze
them. Place them around the female after pollination. Make some sort of
loose enclosure to keep the cool air in but not so tight as to cause run
away heat if the ice melts completely. I am not sure how long these ice
jugs will last yet. You may want to have a second set to get you through
at least one day. Shade it after that and pray.
