The genetic information is exactly the same in each grain of pollen. The
pollen is, as you know I'm sure you know, the male sex cells of a plant.
Pollen is just like the sperm of a male. There is an ovary at the base of the
female flower, what looks like the small pumpkin. The ovary is what grows
into the hopefully prize winning pumpkin. The ovary is where the egg of the
female is, and when it is fertilized by some pollen, it starts to grow,
hopefully profusely :)

P.S. This was all taught to me this year by Mr. Ryan in Bio. And I got a 98
on the Bio regents, so I'm more or less very sure about what I said before.
