Are you saying that 1 male blossom could have 5 or more
different strains of pollen?

No, What I was yrying to point out is that an open pollinated female can
end up with many different genetic traits in the seeds for an individual
pollen grain matches up with a specific ovule in the female. If you had 10
different types of male pollen on a female, you could have 10 different types
of seeds in the female. Unlike a human where one sperm matches up with one
egg, it is possible though unlikely to have dozens of different types of seeds
in the one female if multiple types of pollen is used on a female flower.
