Hi, Jon,
I'm glad you're feeling better. I am a single American woman who has loved
pumpkins since I was a kid. I also love gourds and Indian corn. My mother
just found a picture of me with a HUGE (for its day) pumpkin that a farmer
friend had grown. I was about 10. The shape of the pumpkin was beautifully
round! What a beauty. I was kinda cute, too.
To grow a pumpkin that is only 200-300 pounds would make me very happy, but it
won't happen this year. I had to put it off last year, too. That just means
that when I can finally get a good garden spot for my babies, I will be able
to grow them to wondrous sizes!
Then it's step aside all you guys! Us women can handle this!
Pumpkins rule!
Judy
