Beth,
I am also using chemicals and cringing with each squirt, I see sick sad
worms that used to be healthy , as a direct result of me trying to kill the
(potatoe ) sow bugs that are in the AGoogles in the garden. If any one
knows how to get them to stop eating my pumpkin roots organicly please tell
me, we like worms in the garden.
Last year I grew an almost 200lb AG pumpkin with out any chemicals at
all.
But this year there are so many more bugs than ever before . Some one on the
list said El Nino was the reason for all the bugs. What ever the reason the
bugs are terrible here in Mass.
With all this rain I see fungus on my flowers also , the veggies will be
next no doubt. Tryed spraying with baking soda & water will see if tis
helps.
Take Care ,
Pumpkin Flower
PS( the only time Ive ever seen crinckles is when bugs have laid eggs on or
on new growth. )
