I think you are on to something...

I have also been using Miracle Grow and have some yellow spots.

I've never had this problem before, but it did get pretty hot after I

used the Miracle Grow...maybe causing it to burn the leaves. I

probably had it mixed a little stronger than I should have too.

Usually I foliar feed by misting leaves with a fairly strong Miracle

Grow solution in the evening, and have had good luck.

I think someone should write a song called "Love can kill

a pumpkin"....this time of year I seem to try to hard and it never

really helps. Like the time I cut some trees because they were

shading my best plant... main vine was about 12 feet long and

growing great...pumpkin the size of a softball...after a tree

landed on it th vine was about three feet long and the pumpkin

was about as far as I could throw it! Or like the time........ you

get the picture.

I've got to try to be more careful about keeping fertilizer off

the leaves before hot dry weather.
