Re: Yellow spots on leaves

It might also be from spraying liquid Sevin. In the past the "pumpkinguy"
mentioned by spraying liquid Sevin to heavy, it could cause a thing called
Phytotoxicity. I wish I knew what this is and the alternative to liquid
Sevin "my favorite spray to use for cuke beetles and borers".

You could also be experiencing chlorosis which is an anemic condition of
the plant.....the plant is lacking iron & minerals. A way to tell is by
observing the leaves very closely.....chlorosis is yellowing between the
veins of the leaf and yellow spots on the leaf. The veins are still green.
You will see this in younger leaves. A chelated iron liquid spray
should cure this problem.

A lack of nitrogen is when the entire leaf , veins and all are yellow.

But, I would sure like to know more about Phytotoxicity. Should I change
insecticides? PUMPKINGUY are you there?
