Re: application rate


I actually have a plan to get the vine out fast and then switch to
miracle grow.   Here in UT we don't enjoy the warm nights that most of
you do.  Getting the vine large enough before the pumpkin is set is the
central concern for me this year.  Last year I was only able to get a 15
foot vine, and it produced a 360 pounder.   This year  I added two tuck
loads of goat and sheep manure and the only thing lacking in the soil is
nitrogen.  Thank you for the application rate info.  I had guessed about
that, but wanted to have a second opinion.
