Blood Meal

Does anyone suggest using Blood Meal? Also is there something that will
prevent diseases? I don't remember the name , but its a granual that will
asorb into the plants?
All of my pumpkin plants are doing great! Took them out of their playpens
lastnight. We have had pea hail atleast once a week for the last 3 weeks. I
am going to make Alltel cover out of thin netting (sun can go thru) over the
top. Also last question? Do I pinch off all the flowers till I get 50
leaves? Then let them try setting??
