I use it just after irrigating once a week. N is more easily washed out
of the soil than P & K. Also the manures that I put dow were heavily
strawed, which tied up a lot of the nitrogen. The plant is a healthy
green and the stem is fattening up nicely. I just am not having the vine
run as fast as I would like it to. I hear about these 10 foot vines and
get really discouraged. (not enough to kill my vine with too much
nitro!) hehehe .............night time temps have been in the low 50's
mostly. Do you think this is what's slowing me up? Everything was done
right by the book (Don's Book). I have a regular soil testing schedule
to assure against toxicity of any one nutriant. I guess I just gotta be
patient................hmmmm............bummer
Thanks again for the responses.
