minnesota update

well it is one extreme or the other here i started three seeds 1092,1010,727
from various growers only the 727 germinated my worst year for germinating
thats what i get for trying something new. any way after weeks of rain I finally
got the patch tilled and now it is so hot and dry my plants leaves are all droopy
i put some grass clippings around the base about three foot radius to help
hold some moisture in the ground. i watered for two hours directly at the base of the
main vine but didn't see any results yet. we will see tonight. supposed to get thunder storms
hopefully just some rain and no hail like last year.any one else have problems with the 1092,1010
let me know as i have several left maybee try again next year with those. too late to start any new ones
here in minnesota. the season is to short.
