squash bugs

They're here again, nothing seems to hurt them.
Is there anything besides crawling around on the ground
and hunting them down, then (SQUASHING) them with your fingers? Uck!!
Is that why they are call that, Squash Bug???
I really need some help, I have 9 very nice plants growing
and I don't think I can't finger pick the bugs when my plants get
very much bigger.
Sevin 10 is a joke, I think they thrive on the stuff.
