The EKM # 65 Sunflower seeds are from Buck Meier, Brookings, SD. He has
worked on this hybrid for EIGHT YEARS.He is hopeful for US Ag. approval as a
new seed. They suppose to get 10-15 feet tall and have five lb. heads. The
EKM #65 so far is the largest in the US.
He was to hear from the Ag dept this past Dec. 8th, I don't know the out
come. I planted 8 seeds 6 came up. Just today I lost 3 to I think Woodchucks.
Ad me to the competition! I want that patch!!!
