Hi group
Things in Indiana have been very hot for this time of year. Highs in the
90's low in the 70's. very little rain in this part of the state. This week
it is really going to cool off. Highs in the 60's low around 50. Well
despite all of the heat my plants look better than they ever have only
wilted the first hot day since then they look great during the heat. Site
#1 Is a 937 Mombert was looking great till this morning we had a very strong
wind and the main was broken out about 2'' from the base. It is not broken
clear through but it is like a limp noodle. I was wondering should I
terminate this vine or will it heal ok? I have put on a captain paste and
applied it. I have never had this happen before. I would appreciate any help
anyone could give me. I had it anchored down but Not good enough I guess.
I have a Secondary main coming out I could just go with that But I would
really like to save the main.
Site #2 917.5 Goetz is looking great also vine about two feet and the leaves
and vine are huge.
Site # 3 845.8 ? Planted on week later but starting to take off real strong
looking.
Site 4 759 Mombert Started out slow but looks real good now and picking up
in growth.
Site 845.8 and S LaRue 750. The 845.8 looks real good and strong just
started to vine. The 750 LaRue is a flat vine I will probably terminate it
if it doesn't straighten it self out. Vine is only about 18" long .
Well that's it for now this is my third year growing and so far and things
look great!! Would appreciate any input you all could give me on the broken
vine. Thanks for all the Help
