information needed

Ok. here goes I am a 1st year grower here in Georgia and need a little advice.

The plant in question is 39 days old about 9ft long with 4 other
secondaries from 2 to 4 feet long I have about 50 to 55 leaves from 4in to
24in in size.

Now the question is when do I need to let it set fruit or is that pumpkin?

I do not have any blooms yet but they are just days away.

I am also trying a later plant that is 16 days old and just starting to vine.

How am I doing, I dont know if I am on time, way behind or what in size of
my plants. I do know that my older son..er...plant has grown about 2ft
since thursday night.

oh and saw my first squash bug tonight on of all things one of my tomato
plants.
