The temp here is central california is up to the 100's on a daily basis
and should be so for a month or two now. I have a misting system set up
for my plants now that has 4 six gallon per hour misters that turn on on a
cycle of 5 minute on and 10 minutes off for about 6 hours, or noon to
6:00pm. It seems to keep the temperature down. The only problem I am
running into now is do I keep watering with my dripers? I have been giving
my plant about 4 gallons per day? Is that enough, and should I water less
with the misters going? I could really use some advice on how much to
water. As far as my vines are concerned, they have main vines of about 15
feet and many 10 foot secondary vines. I have 1 ser fruit that is 3 days
old on one plant and 2 set fruit on another plant that are about 6 and 2
days old. They seem to be moving along at normal pace.
