Pumpkin Master,
The "One Ton Cross" refers to seeds that came from a
pumpkin grown from the 1061 Zehr 1996 (female) and
the 1006 Greer 1996 (male) (1061 X1006). I ordered
my "One Ton Cross" seeds from P&P Seed company.
I have been trying to find out about the pumpkin that
produced these seeds, but have had no luck. I NEED
to know how much it weighed.
Note: I have a female at 6 feet that is about the size of
a marble and it is kind of a pale greenish color. I really
hope it starts looking yellow.
Also: Lots of times the male flowers will come along first,
with the female flowers up to two weeks behind. You can
eat the early male blossoms, I usually do this to impress
someone, (wife, nephews, mother, etc.) I usually say how
good they are then spit when no one is looking.
80 degrees, partly cloudy
