spring fever

Us up in northern Minnesota are loving this warm spring weather. I was able
to till my giant corn plot yesterday without hitting frost. Beat my record
by 8 days. My hothouse that I made last year has also warmed up nicely. Last
fall I dug a 2'x4' hole and added fresh manure and leaves and moistened, put
alittle sand on top then filled remainder with soil. Yeserday the heat
created by the manure composting kept the inside temp 15 degrees above
outside temps. This is a good technique to help warm your pumpkin nursery
area if you don't want to use heaters or lights for heat this
