Re: Why treat for grubs??

when I started this string i was talking about the squash borer grubs and the larve form of the squash bugs and all the other garden pests that are wintering in the soil just waiting to come out and eat my pumpkin plant.. i wanted to kill them now in the soil before they came out... i know more can fly over but i had so many last year my soil must be full of them and i want to break the cycle since i cant rotate my crop to a noninfected area... I only have one plot like most of us who dont have a big farm. any comments on this would be appreciated (suggestions on method )
