Here in Virginia it is very hot and humid. I used overhead my first year
and battled rot and mold and fungus all year. Last year I watered with a
hose, keeping the leaves as dry as possible, and the plants stayed in much
better shape (but it sure ate up a lot of time!).

I'm searching for a better system, though my conditions rule out the things
that a lot of you use. I would like to hear from growers in hot spots...
Hey, you Californians!! Hey, you southerners!! What is your opinion about
using a tank and letting water warm up. If a climate is already very hot
(too hot?) is taking the chill off water a good thing? Does the chilled
water shock the plants no matter what? Or is cool water a good thing for
us??

Thanks,
Beth
