Hope/Help for the new year?
Hello Everyone:
Last Year:
Bought Seed from a Store
Started in May, didn't soak seed, seed rotted.
Restarted in Early June
Bought More Store Seed, soaked seed, seed started
Vines grew well, watered / fertilised regularly with Miracle Grow
Blossoms in July
No Fruit
Manually Pollinated in August
No Fruit
Pruned Back to all but two plants
No Fruit
Pruned Back to one vine
No Fruit
September
Lawnmowered the works through my tears of frustration
No Fruit
This Year:
It is now the first full week of March, I live in the Hamilton / Cambridge
Area of Ontario Canada, and I was wondering if someone could help me get a
better start this year. It is my belief that I started too late. Any other
suggestions
Where is a better source than OSC for giant pumpkin seed in my area?
Would someone like to sell me some for a reasonable price on this newsgroup?
I have room to start them indoors, under reasonably good natural light.
When should I start?
I have good new soil, and starting trays, what else should I use?
Any feedback from any helpful persons is appreciated.
thanks
