Bruce,
I wish it was that simple. There are so many teases it ain't funny. I
planted the 887orr a tan seed and selfed it, crossed it with the 449mar and
another sibling 887...........all seed was white in all three pumpkins.
The offspring from this white seed were heavy to the charts and salmon
color. It apprears that when the 887 orr was used as a male the seeds were
white as i found in the 620 black.......and others ...and yet when you
think you can nail it to that.....there is always examples disproving that
theory........seems to be linked to dominant or recessive genes and just
depends ...........how the genes fall.................................MB
