George's Video of Elk Grove
The people in Napa, CA, never cease to be gracious. And here is another
example.
George, the TV producer turned grower just sent me a copy of the Elk Grove
Growers meeting which he filmed (videoed?), edited, duplicated and sent out,
all without compensation. He really exemplifies the best spirit of the
members of this list.
However, the opening scene did cause some anxiety in my house. My wife saw
the black shirts, beards and big bellies of many of the men and said to me,
"Dear, I don't think I belong there." (She is more the Nordstrom type, though
she gets into the spirit of the patch in August when the fun is at its
height.)
