Good question, Jeff.
I throw them in the garbage can if they are small enough. When they get to be
more than 75 poiunds, I have to cut them out and put them with the garden
waste for the garbage truck to take.
They are not ripe, so you cannot keep them very long. They rot after you take
them off the vine.
Hope the one you keep weighs more than all the ones you throw away (which can
be more than two dozen over the whole season).
