Re: About July 4th
I just want to thank all of you for reminding me why I live in Virginia.
Sometimes I miss snow, and I also think about how most of the real giant
pumpkins grow farther north. But reviewing all the responses to Al's
question reaffirms how terrific it is to live here.
Now the "8 to 16" inches they originally predicted for us has turned into
rain all day today, maybe some sleet overnight, then some snow tomorrow -
now they think it'll be 2-4 inches. But on Wednesday it should be in the
50's again, so whatever we get will be gone shortly.
The ground is too wet now to plow, but at least I can see it!
Thank you again, and happy sledding, everyone!
Beth

Around my house I think July 4th may still be a little early. We still have
about 24 inches on the ground in my patch and now maybe 30 inches more to
come (&%@#@*%#) darn it.
