Weather Inclemencies-garden update
Hi, all.
Sorry to learn of the storms hitting the Northeast. How well I remember those
March snowstorms when I lived in NY.
This system is adversely affecting our weather here in FL. After nearly a
month of mid 80 degree temps, the mercury is predicted to plummet to a chilly
38 degrees Tuesday night, with winds gusting to 30mph. Highs will be 50
degrees all week.
Anarchy! I have 4 plants with multiple leaves in the ground, 2 hardened off
seedlings about to be planted, with two more germinating outside in 2 gallon
pots. They will be protected from the winds and cold, although no frosting is
anticipated.
To those travelling to Central FL beaches, better head for Miami. No bikinis
at this latitude for the next week or so.
