hello everyone

  List,
Well the weather has been really wet after the rain DR Allan Reynolds came
to visit. Sunny southern Calipf has been a mud puddle for a couple of weeks
and I am not too happy about it. I made it out to the garden where I have a
hole dug for my first mound. It is 5 x 5 x 3 and I have left it empty until I
get all the goodies to backfill with. A couple of weeks ago I emptied my 5 x
5 x 5 ft composter and yesterday I filled it back in. What a difference !! I
have added several bucket loads of worms into the pile that I collected at
work but when I unloaded it I could only find a few. The remarkable change
was when I refilled it with the same compost it was absolutely PACKED with
worms wow it was neat. I don't know where they went but they brought all
there relatives.
My Question is I know worms are great for gardens But I am afraid of in
my quest to keep powdery mildew at bay I will kill them all. Does anyone have
any suggestions on chemicals to use that wont cause a holocaust of my much
prized little friends?
    Thanks in advance........
