Another one bites the dust in NZ


I had to take out another pumpkin this evening due to rot. It was the
dreaded white patch on the sides of the pumpkin. I sprayed more copper
around the site as it was very close to Eric the Pumpkin. I think it was
William - the question is "did William Tell" (Ha - Ha).

Anyway. I found a few more pumpkins hiding under the leaves - almost white
in colour and peanut shaped - Barb,  they are in the right side of the patch
to be some of yours but I cannot be certain.

I am now quite proud of Eric and I will try to get a shot of him tomorrow if
I can keep my balance and hold back the leaves with some Cow Whackers.
