As we are getting closer to planting time
( thank goodness) I want to bring up the subject of digging pits to plant your
seed in. The soil in both my plots is very fine ( no clay) & when
turning over my tiller can easily sink to a depth of 1-2 ' if you are not
careful. Now with a depth like this is it really needed to dig out a deeper
depth. I really don't want to bother with it since my whole patch has been well
composted & the organic level in one of my patches currently reads
13%.
When do those of you on
the list feel it is needed & when it is not needed..........
Thanks................Paul
