  Craig Weir was one of four people to break 900 pounds and the world record in 1994 with a 914 pounder, however, the world reocrd from 1994 was 990 Pounds. In 1999 he had a 1100 that split, the record that year was 1131 pounds. Geneva Emmons hasn't broken the record before last year, however she did consistantly produce large pumpkins. One of her pumpkins that really stands out is her 930 UOW from 1998. It was the result of an open pollination and was grown from her very own 854 seed. Neither of them acctually held the record, but were very good growers and produced some of the largest pumpkins in the world.
