My Picks for Very Orange Pumpkins for 2002

First, I wish to thank all those who gave me seeds!  A Big Thanks!
2nd, I wish to thank all those who requested seeds....over 60+ people! Nice to see Orange Genetics are important!  If you did not get seeds, let me know..I will resend.

I will probably do what I did last year...stage the garden in groups of 2 plants every week for 4-5 weeks....makes the season interesting.  Last year the last 2 plants in...grew the 2 biggest pumpkins.  (Because the early part of the year...the pumpkins grew to much and split! ;-)

#1 - 723 Bhaskaran 01 - I usually grow the main seed I have given away.
This is a  850 Wallace 00  x 400 Reynolds 00 (929 Kuhn 97 x 760 Patrick 99!)

#2 - 1230 Daletas 01 - Should be orange...most likely will not be the  bright "red" orange.  However, this is AWESOME seed  and I have to plant it!

#3, #4 - 760 Patrick 99 - 2 more attempts with a GREAT Orange seed stock!

#5 - 691 Nesbitt 00 - 801.5 Stelts x sibbed.  Love that 801.5 for color!

#6 - 731 Stucker 00 - 801.5 Stelts x sibbed.

#7 - 847.5  Christiansen 01  - (867 Mombert x 825.5 Shymanski) - a new mix!

#8 - 912 Holland 01 -  567.5 Mombert x 801.5 Stelts.  This is also a VERY orange pumpkin..this is the 940 Mombert 00 genetics.

486 T. Bhaskaran 01 - 760 Patrick 99 x 947.2 Patrick 99 ...she likes orange and wants to plant "her" pumpkin.

Nick Bhaskaran:
568 N. Bhaskaran 01 (UOW) - 850 Wallace 00 x 910 Stellpflug 00 - This was a "white" pumpkin but split close to weigh off.  Will be an interesting mix...the 850 was the fastest growing plant and largest plant I have ever seen.
