Scimitar is same ingredient as Warrior-T, lambda cyhalothrin. Some other trade names for products containing lambda cyhalothrin include Charge, Excaliber, Grenade, Hallmark, Icon, Karate, Matador, OMS 0321, PP321, Saber, Samurai and Sentinel.

Admire is Imidacloprid. See: http://www.agro.bayer.com/index.cfm?PAGE_ID=128

Warrior is applied from above, while imidacloprid is a true systemic, absorbed & then transmitted throughout thru the plant's sap.

I think there was an article on treating seeds with Admire on bigpumpkins.com (maybe it was Asana?)
