Rather than base your estimates on the pony's actual weight gain, perhaps a
formula based on the animal's OTT would be more accurate. Good luck figuring
out which is the blossom end. ;-)

So I take a new look at things. 1 pony- puts on 25 # over the period at the
most. I use 60 bales of hay at 30#/bale=1800# of hay. Manure
therefore=(hay-pony weight gain)times a urine water factor (which I'm gonna
guess is 5 on average - this is where some help would be appreciated) gives
4.5 tons of manure. So my imagination inflated it by a factor of 2.
