LONG GOURD MEASURING!!!
LIST!!
For those sites who are having Long gourds in the prize
pool......Anamosa has been doing this for years......This season we are
making a change as for how the LG is actually measures....do to
inconsistencies over the years..THE ONLY WAY TO GET A TRUE measurement
is to lay it on the table and mark each end..then measure STRAIGHT LINE
BETWEEN THE MARKS......forget the curve...to hard to stay fair and equal
to each grower........trust me it will matter when you get down to 1/8"
......between Gourds.....I want a ruling from the Heads of the GPC on
this so every site does it the same....If yo unow any of their E-mail
address please forward this one to them/...THANKS DAN
