Subject: Giant Pumpkin Seed Lineage

Hello again,
Does any one know a site that has the seed lineage of the
various winning giant pumpkin seeds? A few years ago I am sure
I had found one. However I can't find it now. Please tell me if you
know.

I was first introduced to Giant pumpkins a few years ago thru the
inspiration of a veteran pumpkin grower and his wife. I loved the challenge
even thou I did not get a really big one.

Last season I planted seeds I had harvested several years
before (which had been refrigerated). The germination went well. But sad
to
say when I went to transplant them they just fell apart. I could see the
growth was weak. I don't know if the seeds themselves were weak, or if if
was something in the potting soil that killed them. Anyone have this
experience? I welcome your comments.
