Soil
I've heard a lot about making sure that my soil is "balanced" but
am not certain of exactly what this means...
Should I be looking for a pH of 6.5 to 6.8 and then equal levels of
N, P and K?
Thanks for any input on this!
I have probably too much organic matter in my main patch this year
which is not fully composted so I don't think it's worth it to
try to send out a test to A&L in California this year.
From now on I'll be keeping a separate pile of compost, manure and
leaves and only add it to my patches when it's fully aged.
I can test for pH and also N, P and K separately though by
myself for this year so any advice would be appreciated.
