I found the easiest way was to use the snow blower to till up my hills. 
First blow the snow off then flip the snow blower forward until it makes a 
slurry out of the dirt, ice and what ever snow thats left. This may take a 
while to burn thru the frozen ground but it will help to heat the ground so 
your potatoe sets will sprout. I figure if you get them in now we should have 

potatoes and peas by August...LOL!
