Jim,
It's not good to disturb those seeds!
I'd pack up some food and follow them in a canoe.
Alternatively you can tie a small rock to them and let
them sink but first make sure you mark their locations
with buoys...or rent some scuba equipment maybe...

Best wishes and I'll try to send you out a bubble
pack with some heat in it this week if you're willing
to cover the postage.

just let them float to whereever they choose and hopefully germinate?
Different coast, different issues, same problem.  We want to plant
pumpkins!!!!!
