Re: Wanted: Pumpkin Actors

Hello Max:

We are Farmer John and Eda Muller with Farmer John's Pumpkin Farm in Half
Moon Bay, CA. We are located 40 minutes south of San Francisco near the
ocean. We would be happy to work with you on this project if at all
possible. We have an autumn harvest, nurturing atmosphere pumpkin farm with
over 40 varieties of pumpkins, an authentic native American ti pi, an
antique John Deere tractor, a corn maze, a field of sunflower, Giant
pumpkins ranging from 100-650 lbs., and our wonderful Bernese Mountain Dog,
Clementine. What is more, and the best part for the visitors, is that we
have Farmer John! We have had several magazine shoots at the farm that have
gone well, and would be interested in how we may help you. For what it
sounds like you need we would have to plant earlier than usual and wound
need to know soon.
Please check out our website: www.farmerjohnspumpkins.com, and then give us
a call if you are interested. Farmer John's cell phone: 650 464 8226,
Eda's cell phone: 640 464 6989, office phone: 650 726 4980.
Wishing you all the best,
Eda and John Muller

FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY SEEKS PUMPKINS!
Donbt Blink Productions, an independent film company based in New York
City,
is looking for pumpkins to purchase for an upcoming film shoot. We are
simulating a pumpkin patch and need numerous pumpkins, large and small, both
for
background sets and for close up shots of carving. We need both
bperfectlyb
shaped pumpkins as well as unusually shaped or misshapen pumpkins.
Shooting dates will fall within the period of early June 2005 to mid
September 2005. We are therefore looking to purchase both pumpkins held
over
from
fall 2004, or early crops in August 2005. Shooting location is planed for
Northern California or upstate New York, however we are interested in
purchasing
(and shipping) pumpkins from locations throughout the United
States/Canada.
Additionally, Donbt Blink Productions is seeking a pumpkin farm for use as
a
shooting location for a period of one and a half weeks, either in Northern
California or New York State, most likely shooting between late August and
mid
September.
We are also interested in the possibility of working with a local pumpkin
farm in Northern California or New York State to grow a small crop of
pumpkins
on an earlier scheduled harvest, to have pumpkins ready to be picked by mid
August.
