Seeds for a rookie?
Greetings all,
I've been watching the list for a number of years and posted rarely.
I enjoy the exchanges and often learn about the culture of pumpkin growing.
I've only planted 3 times, though I've been watching the list for five
years.
I've only had one successful season so far (94lb).
Number 4 is upon me and I am sadly out of the magic seeds you folks trade.
I am looking for seeds that will get me a pumpkin that will impress my
children.
They are probably easily impressed, so I am not going after those
precious seeds from record breakers.
I have no plans to enter any competition.
My plot is small. I generally only cultivate two plants. In return for
your seeds, I keep a growth log and take photos regularly.
My only preference is that pumpkins produced are orange at maturity.
