Boy I am glad you tried it first..............
I had thoughts of applying sun screen but I was scared you all might laugh
at me.
Or are you just making all this up to see if I'll bite.
If I put sunscreen on my pumpkin I think my wife would send me to a shrink.
Do you give it a little massage while your there.
Might as well put it on a banana chair, and give it a cocktail and a hat.
See Ya
Tony

Hi Everyone,
To add some color to this subject, here in California we all have abandoned
our pumpkin shelters and resorted to BullFrog
(SPF 40), apply twice a day, it keeps the skin supple and won't allow your
pumpkin to burn. Much easier than the Refrigerator method! Be careful of
the coppertone, it tends to have to much oil and will result in an early
poolside burn!
Tony, I am surprised you did not pick up on this one, particularly with all
the sun you get their in the Land Down Under!
PS. Duncan, I see your link noted below on constructing a pumpkin shelter
for shade! I assume this is the previous posting you invested the time in
compiling ,by Jack LaRue? Is this on your main page as well or did I miss
it?
