The Centrailia/Chelias (?) Fairground is having their spring show and
one of the topics is growing Atlantic Giant pumpkins. On March 23 at
3:00pm, (spelling) Soloman, Holland and LaRue will discuss the methods
of growing Atlantic Giant pumpkins for those of you who want to learn.
I do not have an adgenda, but the class will be worth while. I hope, I get
the day off to go...please dear please.
Joel Holland is a new member of the GPC National Steering Committee.
Joel has been growing pumpkins for many years in the PNW and at one
time had the World record. Joel will be a true asset to the committee.
The Pacific Norhtwest Growers Ass. will be releasing the Spring issue
of the "Main Vine" shortly. Article will include:
Cold Frame Construction
Seed Germination
and other pumpkin related topics
The PNWGA has a annual dues of 20 USD and provides two bulletins with
information and support from local growers.
