re: measuring circumference

The circumference is 88 inches, the other measurements for the Over the top
method are 61 and 65 inches, add these together ,214" , on the chart thats
215lbs which is 97kgs.
I'm just hopeing Its 100kgs.
I think I told you my first real pumpkin was 77.5kgs.
A friend is growing his first this season, It should be around 50-60kgs
Another first timer stopped at 40kgs.
It depends on your hunger for knowledge, your willingness to make the
effort... and luck.
Most people start out half heartedly and only water it now and then and
never fertilize.
Then a pumpkin starts to grow, they get all exited and start pumping in the
water and fertilizer.
They might grow a reasonable one, but if the effort was put in earlier?
My pumpkin is still on the vine, I have started collecting the horse manure
for next season.
Look out world .......here I come.
