Someone here asked why we are growing pumpkins rather than squash? My answer
is why would anyone grow squash when they could grow pumpkins? Someone else
might say,"Hey, pumpkins are squash. They are all the same." Any pumpkin
grower knows that bottom line they aren't. Why pick a grey green when you can
have orange or at least a shot at orange? Although the color of money here in
the US is green, wouldn't it be nicer if it were orange? Also, when you ask
,"Why are we growing pumpkins, please recall this is the pumpkin group. Guess
why we aren't focused on tomatoes?????
