Tony,
I asked my brother (an industrial chemist) about this type of tester and he
thinks it is unlikely to be useful. Then again he would be biased towards a
laboritory type test.
He suggests I look up books and find out the chemicals needed to run a
proper test and he could get them for me.
I should do that. I'll put it on the list. In fact I will start up a list.
