The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the PA Giant Pumpkin Growers accept the
challenge of "What's his name" Mills and his southern pimpkin growers. The
battle can begin on May 6 or thereabouts.
Why aren't we getting a committment from "What's his name" relative to
piloting our entry in the annual regatta. Perhaps Joe can't swim?
On another vein, my first attempt at creating a "sprouting box" using a pop
cooler and a water heater used for tropical fish tanks was a failure. I could
only get the temperature in the box to 80 degrees. Next I tried a 100 watt
light bulb inside the cooler. The next morning the temperature in the cooler
was 120 degrees. I am now looking for a 50 watt light bulb. Stay tuned.
I added this last paragraph so that Duncan would not call my posting BS and
delete me.
